Quantum PR has a long-standing relationship with the East London Waste Authority (ELWA). We’ve worked together for more than 10 years, so when ELWA was looking to revamp its website, Quantum stepped in to deliver.
ELWA is the authority responsible for waste and recycling disposal from the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham and Redbridge. Its existing website was looking out-dated and was confusing for users to navigate. Additionally, the website did not allow ELWA to engage with its members or the public.
Quantum was tasked with updating the website by streamlining important information on the site, making it responsive for mobile devices and refreshing the user experience.
Features of the new look website include interactive, peak-time graphs, downloadable recycling site maps and a recycling widget on the homepage – which allows users to locate their nearest facility.
In addition to this, the site also boasts a document store which holds authority correspondence and paperwork, accessed via a secure members’ login area.
Quantum’s Craig Francis was responsible for overseeing the design and build of ELWA’s new site. “ELWA’s new site offers a better user experience and the design has brought the site to life. It is a great platform to build on as the site can be continually updated by the authority for members and the public alike.”
